WELCOME TO KIRKMAN HOUSE FRIENDS!
Welcome to the Kirkman House, a grand Victorian home, built in the 1870′s by the McLaughlin lumber baron family. From 1916 to 1995 the house was known as Sacred Heart Convent and was home to the teaching Order of Sisters of Providence of Saint Vincent de Paul. In 1996, the house was purchased and restored by Ellen and Bryan Smith and renamed Kirkman House. The house is within a ten minute walk from the town centre, parks, “The Grove” (an old growth forest) and two rivers with private and public marinas.
If you have specific dietary requirements please let us know and we can make arrangements.
Kirkman House is dog friendly, and has one resident dog, Tasha. If you plan on bringing your dog(s) please call ahead to make arangements.
